While I'm really enjoying this, I feel like a lot of the events don't really move the plot forward much. It's just "this happens" and then they move on and you forget it happened. It doesn't seem to be GOING anywhere, other than just forward in time.
Also, Mateo is the worst Last Friend ever. Rufus is so good to him and he does nothing to return the favour!
