All of the history I have learnt in school and then for CSE preparation have centred either around Delhi and Patna, or they have been about Tamil Nadu, my home state. The identity of the Deccan region is less discussed about. Now, being stationed in the heart of the Vijayanagar empire, I get to read the history of the rules who reigned over the Deccan plateau.
