This is so disturbing!! And there was this passage in there that made me miss Afghanistan. I got this sense of belonging rushing thru me.

This book is teaching me so much about Hazara people (my people), i dont wanna spoil anything but srs what is and was wrong with the world. I know we were a minority in Afghanistan but I am so grateful that I didnt have to grow up in such a place. Like the more I read, my love for Afghanistan is diminishing. :(. I thought people got along then, but apparently i have being living the most ignorant life (blind fool).

This book hits home so hard. Maryam, u should read to really appreciate the extreme Afghani exageration of their kids achievement hahahahaha "high score in a biology test and afghani parents make it out as if they are doctors" 😂
