I tried already to imagine Nick browsing through shelves in a book store looking for a new release...Nope, I couldn't...And then this:
It wasn't my book. Someone had left it in the laundry room; lonely, dog-eared and stained. [...] I wasn't loving it, but it was there begging to be read each weekend. Reading it felt like an act of charity.
