Beautiful so far. This was written in 1947 and yet it has the utopian world of "Lost Horizon" and the magical realism of "One Hundred Years of Solitude." I am reading the English translation though. Not sure if it is better or if it actually made the book more palatable. I should read the Filipino original version later.
