Proud of Paulie for breaking up with Joel because he doesn’t deserve to constantly be compared to Diego and found lacking/ second best

Joel’s freak out was pretty predictable, but I’m not as sympathetic to him now that Paulie has known all about Joel’s past and Diego for a while. He’s just making Paulie feel like shit for no reason, when Paulie has respected Joel and his past with patience and sympathy. Unless there’s yet another secret Joel is hiding, he’s just being a dick now
