A bit to squeamish aren't we? You would think a crime reporter has stronger guts. Are we sure she is not just pretending to be a crime reporter, but actually writes stories about puppies and rainbows?

And that is it? She had a dream about her cousin's murder and decided to investigate based on that? Not to sound mean or something, but I once had a dream where I jump of the bridge and fly with my angel wings. That is not a good reason why I should jump from a bridge now is it? Even for PNR, "because she had a dream" is stretching it (except if the person is a witch, oracle or any other being with premonitions).

So far? A bit dry. It feels like reading a report or a list. For example chapter three- "Sam drove to work. She reflected upon her late night vision. She became determined to discover all she could. Sam sat at her desk." Well this is a summary. There are more words in sentences. But they still feel stiff and somewhat uncomfortable.
