I’m finding the author way of introducing characters is confusing. I wasn’t fond of how Luc Legeune was introduced or Maryse’s cat was brought into the story. There is a lot of guess work. If I hadn’t read the description of the book before hand I wouldn’t know she was a scientist. That’s never clearly said. Or who Luc clearly is & what are his motives! It’s like the story has holes in it.

I CANT STAND writers that write about a strong women yet is weak when it comes to sexual encounters with the male lead. Or she can’t think or the part where she is sitting there thinking if Luc butt! REALLY? This book is literally like 500 billion other books are written! I had such high hopes but I’m losing faith that she can turn this around! Let’s see!

I’m still trying to figure out how the reader is supposed to know certain things. Like the reason Luc is even investigating Maryse? When was that explained. I’m the type of reader that would like to know why something is happening so I can follow the plot properly! Her writing style is one I’m not enjoying too much as of now.
