So 9% in, 18 year old Callie who has been kidnapped and starved is gifted to a CIA operative by the rebel leader and then she decides to give her virginity to him so she doesn't get raped? What?? Seriously??

At first I thought this was written by a man. Because I cannot for the love of me believe that a woman wrote such a male fantasy plot into the first few pages of a book. I'm not giving up yet.
