Upon reading this book it hit me that a lot of the anti-Russian hysteria being whipped up by the Democrats and the mainstream media is aimed at Dispensationalists (most of whom are Republicans politically), as they believe that Russia (in alliance with Iran) is mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39 as an enemy of Israel.

The introduction makes a good case for the necessity of preaching on the subject of eschatology. As it is part of the whole counsel of God, a minister cannot avoid the topic without being unfaithful to his calling.
