I plow through the pages on this thing because I am so over the authors' self-congratulation on surviving a breakup/divorce/whatever. I find myself resenting the discovery of some of my favorite poems wedged into chapters on "Moving On" or "The Rebound".

I've taken to skipping the petulant, self-indulgent interstitials on the chapters and just reading the poetry as a collection on a theme. But then, I did not pick the book up in the throes of heartbreak, so perhaps my smugness is inconsiderate.
