Audiobook Ch. 5: I had forgotten how things seem different in YA novels. Someone so young being captain of the guard seems improbable. Where is the experience?

Ch 14. I'm remembering why I like this book. The only true negative about this so far is the narrator. She doesn't quite keep the same voices for people. Dorian's high pitched exclamation had me thoroughly confused for several minutes.
