Like other reviewers, I felt the ideas presented reflected out-dated and narrow definitions of womanhood. I also didn't appreciate the author's constant need to repeat and bolster her clains to be an authority. All those people and they intuitively knew she was a storyteller and would spill their guts, imparting ancestral wisdom? Did they know she was going to exploit and use them to build herself up too?
