This book is a bit redundant, so I'm slowing down. I really want to get to Children of Blood and Bone though.

I've been doing cooking all wrong. I need to buy a Global knife, a non-stick saute pan and have some shallots handy at all times in my mise en place if I plan to ever be good enough as a cook. Oh wait... who am I right now. LOL

Chef Bagna sneaking up on students and screaming questions at them made me actually laugh out loud. Will they make this book a movie just for that imagery?

All I know is I spent my early morning hours Googling whether people indeed eat horse meat. Mind you, this was a pretty small anecdote in the book but I couldn't resist.
