This book reminds me of the book Divergent because they both are going through trials. In Renegades the Protagonist is going through trials to become a 'hero,' and in the book Divergent, the Protagonist also has to complete trials to become part of the faction. Both characters have to deal with the stress of auditioning and to not fail their mission.

In the end, this book is very similar to books like Divergent and Throne of Glass. These books all share the idea of a Protagonist going through many trials, and having to prove themselves. I would recommend it to anyone that likes dystopian books that have a bit of fantasy and adventure.

This reminds me of Divergent because this book is also set in a dystopian 'timezone,' and they both have to deal with the same problems. The Protagonist is doing the trials to become a 'superhero.' In the book
Divergent, the Protagonist also has to complete trials to become a formal member of the faction. So they are both dealing with the stress to become a part of a group of people.
