In the book, right after the Allies arrive, there are photos which I did not look at until I reached them when reading. I just lost it. The tears just flowed. I read the captions, seeing Schmerke, Kruk, Kalmanovitch, etc...all for the first time. I had just read of their activities and horrors: so I just cried and cried and cried. Now I'm beginning, Part Three, after the war.
