I love that these happen concurrently! I've not read a trilogy like that before, usually it's a "pass the baton" thing, not a "meanwhile..." thing.

Onward to the next Pine Cone romance!
I'm not sure I've ever read a trilogy before with three different authors writing each of the books, but this "small Southern town, three best friends" seems like a perfect format to do it in.
