I'm thinking what are the lessons to be learned from this chapter. Do I always negotiate after the first offer because Bill said that the first offer is not always the best. He told me to avoid rookie mistake, which for him is that he should avoid meeting with Clinton from the get-go. What's my take on this? I think, if I know what people want and I'm not willing to give it up, I should tell them right away, right?
