The heroine almost drowned when an unconscious man toppled her over into a fountain and his dead weight held her underwater. It was awesome, but I'm relieved that she survived. :D

Restell considered offering his hand to assist her but thought better of it. She would not likely spurn his help; neither was she likely to be made comfortable by it.
Can this be? A hero considering the heroine's comfort and trying to respect it? This be blasphemy in modern romance, and I'm LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT. :D
