This is a parody of several other books, but unfortunately I haven't read those books. I do understand some references from Lord of the Rings though. From what I 'm getting so far is that a barbarian (even though he's far from it) is depressed and goes on a quest to kill himself accompanied by a koi fish who can't swim. Basically a suicide mission.

Okay, so far I'm really enjoying this book. Right now I'm trying to juggle Wildcard, Throne of Glass, and The Diary of a Young Girl and failing at it. Anyway, this book is ridiculous and very ironic. I mean, one of the main characters is a fish that was saved from drowning.
