Nina was in the thief's brain still and when warren passes by her house she's on the porch stairs. Warren says that Nina has already told him about the dreams or her being inside the thief's mind.

I think that Nina and Masson are both static characters because Nina is determined to find The Thief and masons wants to help Nina since the beginning.

Nina is in somebody else's mind and she's a boy in the dream and she's confused. The boy hangs himself and she sees pure blackness and starts to wonder if the boys dad also hung himself in jail or in an apple tree. She's at home in her bed dreaming in the thief's mind.

Ninas friend starts doing research to see what he went to schnedy for and asks his brother for his credit card that he uses to buy himself and his friends fake Id's to run the thief's licence plate. Nina goes to school and her friend goes up to her and tells her they need to go to the police because it is all over the news that the gustaffson's went missing.

The Gustaffons die and nina feel guilty because she couldn't help them. They find the thief and then a car chase happens and he escapes.

Nina get to the house of her 'parents' then the thief gets there. She recalled another case that the thief has done and it ends horrible.

Nina has found the Thief in New York and asked Warren t take her and he agrees. On the drive over there she is telling Warren lies and she lied to her adopted mother and when they get there the lights of the house were all off.

The Thief is going east where there are a lot of farms but he lives in a cabin in the forest and there are a lot of forest. He stopped at a little store and talks to the cashier then asks her for smokes then asks her to go see his truck Where there is a little forest behind them.

Its the girls birthday and her mom throws her a surprise party. She wishes for the Thief to stop hurting people.

Nina gets nightmares and so she doesn't like to sleep. shes learning on how to use a gun.
