I really hope that if Sarah and Jaime get together, it's towards the end of the novel - he's still heavily grieving and shouldn't rush into another relationship until he's in a better place. Neither of them deserve that.

There's all sorts of drinking and then driving - like at some point after someone leaves shortly after having a lot of alcohol, there better be some consequences - an accident, a police citing them with a DUI, SOMETHING!

So, both Don and Jamie have a glass of brandy each and then drive to the house in separate cars? Shouldn't they have had something to eat or have waited a few hours at least?
