I have skipped a story (Ugly Magic by May Dawson) due to forgetting what was going on and I might come back to it but unlikely.

At Water’s Edge by LA Kirk and Lyn Forester. has a gorgeous ending. I really liked a lot of the moments between the protagonists. The was some wonderful choices for characterisation. The neriads are super bratty and high school like, which feels very fitting.

Sovereign of Souls by Caia Daniels After reading 3 chapters this story just doesn't grab me and I'm really confused. For a series without an actual series and therefore no dedicated fans it feels an awful lot like fanservice. I will say I did like the ideas behind it, the blend of myths and the way of creating the harem I just couldn't get into it.

On The Edge Of Forever by AJ Anders & Amanda. Sudden ending with no confirmation in the book of where it goes next. But fantastic characters and enjoyable plot and writing.
Eclipse by Angelique Armae. My issue with this has to do with my fondness for mythology. I'm like the characters, the plot is goodish but the lore is problematic it is twisted up Egyptian and Greek mythology with some imagination.

Inconceivable Origin by Chloe Adler. I'm DNFing after 2 chapters. Sydney is a jaded prostitute but there is something else going on there. I just found her awful, her character is also a bit inconsistent at this point. At the end of the last chapter I read there was a scene that was rape, Sydney didn't know he wasn't able to consent but I can't abide that.

“You are not Dorothy Gale of Kansas; you are Dareaux Thelia Gale of the East Wind,” - Tavia Gale. Twisted by Amy Sumida is an intelligent take on the Wizard of Oz. I really enjoyed it. The changes in the characters felt right, there was enough in the speech to the original to be recognisable and the alterations while extreme were not unwelcome. It was really satisfying.

"Do humans need a lot of watering?" "First, don't call it watering, I'm not a plant. Second, am I the first human you've ever met?" - Cerberus & Ciera. Hell’s Calling by Bea Paige & Skye MacKinnon is a take on Dante's Inferno with a badass female protagonist. It's possibly my fave story so far in the anthology. I love the characters and the scenario, there is a gorgeous balance of humour and danger.

Charms of Attraction by Julia Clarke. I enjoyed it. I loved the characters and the fast-paced plot, there is nothing superfluous in there. Though this is not a story for readers sensitive to domestic or psychological violence. (full review will be posted at Charms of Attraction)

I have posted I full review of this already. But long story short reverse harem in a Norse mythology world, it's a lot of fun. Beutifully wrtiteen and made me want to read more of the series.

Twisted: A Fairy Tale Mash-up by Lena Mae Hill blends Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. It is the 1st book in a new series aimed at the upper end of young adult fiction. I didn't hate it... but I didn't love it. There was too much questionable consent for me. Though it was a decent execution of a good set up.

A Nightmarish Mystery by L.C. Hibbett and N.M. Howell. A super short fan service piece for a series I hadn't read. Well framed for series continuity but defitely one for the fans. I can see it as a selling poit for the anthology. But not a story I loved.
