So far, the story is thrilling and heart-wrenching! I am already holding a torch for Brady and little Conner. Piper is a little too stubborn but she has a good heart. The one character I am struggling with is Ken. He is psychotic and his perspective slows the story down a bit - especially when he keeps repeating that "Piper is his" and he needs to "eliminate anyone and everything" that obstructs his having her.
