Just noticed I’ve been reading this for over a month and I’m only 50% done?! I blame full time work and Netflix but also I’ll admit I started to lose interest once the Aimee character showed up. I’ll finish it but I’m finding it’s not up to the usual Zadie Smith standard. Hopefully it improves in the second half.

Really taking my time with this one. Not because I’m not enjoying it but because it might be awhile until the next Zadie Smith novel so I need to savour it.
