Frankenstien wants to get back to Geneva after being gone for so long, to visit his family, but the winter comes sooner then expected and he ended up having to stay in Ingoslat, though next winer he receives a letter from his father about the murder of his younger brother, and urges him to come home.

Today Clerval visited Victor, and he soon realizes that Victor is sick because of all the stress he was put under by himself to create the monster, which he has now lost.

Today, Victor brought his monster to life and even though he spent all this time working on it, he regrets and is terrified by what he has done.

He started working on creating the monster, and he becomes consumed with his work and his work becomes all he thinks about, months pass and he hasn't made any contact with his family because all his does is worry and perfect his monster.

So far we've learned that the main character has gone off to school, and he meets a professor who teaches him all the branches of science, especially chemistry and he learns of philosophy. He then goes onto learn about how we decay after death.

I finally picked out a book to read, and so far It's just been sort of filling me up on Victor's life story, how his parents meet and how they adopted his sister, and other little facts of his childhood that I'm sure will come into play later.
