I wonder if my recent obsession with New Adult/YA romances has anything to do with me only have one month left in my 30s and the need to feel young again. To be honest, my youth was never as exciting as what I'm reading.

OMG!! I could have written this myself! I turned 40 last month, and I am OBSESSED with the YA/New Adult books!!! And, you're right. My youth was never this exciting or drama-filled either. I think you're on to something here!

Too funny! I wonder if there are more late 30s and up reading YA/ New Adult than teens. I just cant seem to stop. I have a pile of adult contemps from the library to read but I keep downloading these awesome teen books. Maybe I am trying to "live" the wild youth I never had. Lol
TOTALLY agree, Kathy!! I feel the need to (finally) rebel now that I'm 40. So now I'm reading everything YA/New Adult, anything and everything which has a rockstar hero, and suddenly the more piercings and tattoos my book heroes have the happier I am;-) LOL!! It's kinda sad....and, yet, I'm thoroughly enjoying myself:)
Have you read Perfect Chemistry? I just finished the trilogy and really enjoyed it. It doesn't have rock stars but it does have the Fuentes brothers, tatooed gang members (not by choice) who my good girl teen self would have loved to reform.
