I'm amazed how some people can read when they're sick. Maybe it just depends on the nature of the illness, but when I'm sick, I cannot wrap my brain around what I'm reading. I spent the last four days at home, and I read maybe five pages. Five pages in four days. That makes me sad.

From my experience it depends on the illness, I can't read when my mind feels foggy or when the body is in too much pain but when I can think clearly and I'm relatively comfortable it is such a wondrous escape, forgetting the illness and diving into the world(s) in the books. Get well soon :)
