This isn’t what I thought it was going to be. I thought there would be an introduction, and then t would go in-depth about tower prisoners and their lives, why they were prisoners, etc. It’s mainly facts about the history of the tower, with a few pages dedicated to a quick explanation of some famous prisoners.

This writer takes absolutely no nonsense. I saw a few reviews before reading that said this book was very scientific, which I agree with so far. This would make a great documentary.

Random comment, but I didn’t realize how old this book is.

I saw a couple of reviews beforehand that described this book as “scientific,” so I’m not surprised, or disappointed really. I don’t think I’m loving it exactly, and it’s not quick to get through for me. But it’s all right.
