Well ... this is heavy going. The 1st book was odd but I thought this might clarify some rather absurd situations.
Wrong! I can't believe how ridiculous the situations and characters are and I'm only half way through. Are they vampires? An hermaphrodite? Is Ruth a demon? Why did she commit such atrocious crimes? Dubious consent abounds and Raechela (sp?!) is unfathomable.
I shall press on.
