Cousins doing the "bros before hoes" gimmick is the best thing ever. I read this book with watery eyes each time I think my bby emperor might be an ass but no he's always his good old self, with his murderous love of his life and his SPAWN OF SATAN CHILD WTF ? Also Isolda is 100% one of my favorite characters in the series.

Setting aside my love for Assassin's Gambit ; this book is so far the best in the serie. It kindz strikes a chord with actuality. I am forever grateful I bought the first book years ago. I've pinpointed the exact line (well, almost ) where I thought "this is not a guilty pleasure anymore fuck it" unbeknownst to me I've already started recommending it to loads of people.
