I’m sorry to say that thus far, this is at best, insipid. I’m going to finish it but I’m frustrated by the story. We’re 50% through the book and so far the two MCs have had two interactions, both very brief. There’s been more action between one of the MCs and another love interest than with his supposed mate. Mostly I find the reason for their separation and the separation itself to be juvenile.
