I'm a fan of reading short stories and enjoy writing them and found this book on the bookshelf the other day and realised I'd not read it. I started it last night. I have to say I found the initial opening chapter on the history of short stories really dry and turgid although I'm sure others might enjoy it. I then skipped to part 2 and found this much more enjoyable.
