IF you support rape culture, remember, free speech only let’s you express your opinion. It however doesn’t make it right, respectable or protect you from others calling your bullshit. Supporting rape culture is not up for respectful discussion. Also how can it be “your opinion, let’s respect it” when you’re telling someone the how their rights should be limited according to your standards?

Alex ♈ My update since months is also about rape, you know exactly what I’m thinking about it. I never did, do or ever will support or tolerate rape in any form. But look at some books, which ‘praise’ rapists – books written by women and rated high by women! It’s like women saying ‘boys will be boys’ and jeez. Women, who are daughters, sisters, mothers…
I guess you was again called a bully, dear Kiki? I heard I was labeled one too *lol*. If you don’t agree with someone’s opinion, it may be ‘played’ against you. I never had any problem with criticism, even if it’s harsh, but some do. Surprisingly you never trashed any of my reviews, or at least I never saw it as an attack/bashing.
I actually respect you a lot for standing up and don’t be afraid to say your opinion! You are against rape, violence, cheating, double standards, misogyny.
What’s wrong with it? It’s admirable!
I’m, as a woman, respect you for being an honest and strong woman with morals!
You fight for our rights, and if it makes you a bitch in someone’s eyes, embrace it! ;-)

Leo (Queen of the Rants and Spoilers) 100% agree with you. It’s baffling how can someone support rape. I will never understand and agree with that person.

Of course you guys would agree with me and respect me because you agree with what I said. However, put yourself on someone else’s shoe who likes to think they’re progressive and they respect women and they’re a good parent to their kids or they’re excellent husband/boyfriend. Then they look me in the eye and tells me “boys will be boys”, “Dr Ford was a tease”, “she had no proof”, “I believe women when they accuse someone BUT...”, “I love a strong woman but did the bitch really have to be do independent? It’s clear he likes a little control, if she loved him wouldn’t she sacrifice?” Imagine if I speak up here. They have two options. Either to admit they are wrong and they have to change a lot or admit they support rape culture. Second option would be to pretend they’re entitled to there opinions and it is a simple matter of differences in opinion and I need to respect it. Actually I don’t. I’m only required to let you express your opinion and I have every right to judge your opinion and you, because you ARE what your opinion is, and I’m allowed to disrespect it. You have already disrespected me with your opinion as I am all the women they’re insulting. I am sufferer of “boys will be boys”. So I WILL challenge that. Now they don’t have an argument. So only thing left is name calling. So now I’m a slut, a troll or a bully or all of the above. I’m ok with any labels as long as I’m not the oppressor. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Oh no! They don’t support rape! Rape is definitely heinous. However their definition of rape changes according to a lot of things. And they invariably find a way to blame women for being raped. It’s a support of rape culture and victim blaming that i have issues against.
