I wish there was a bit more romance but eh, what can you do. Caro frustrated me. She was so suspicious of Sayer, it didn't even make sense. He's literally devoted to you! He would do anything for you! HE LOVES YOU! Argh. I wanted to shake her. Sayer is... the best. His love for Caroline makes hers pale in comparison. Sometimes I feel like she doesn't deserve his love. I hope they'll get a HEA by the end of this book.

I liked this book but as much as the first one. Caroline annoyed me with her suspicions. Sayer's devotion for Caro is out of this world. He did EVERYTHING for her and GAVE UP everything for her too. I don't blame him for what he did as a child. It wasn't fair but when the one person who gave you meaning in life wanted to leave the life you just swore to be in, you'd do anything to keep them.
