Did you read all weekend?! I'm only on page 70!!

I didn't read all weekend, but I did read quite a bit. With our office closed due to Sandy today, I plan to be reading more. We'll see how much progress I make today!

I cannot tell you how impressed I am. I'm enjoying it, but I am not making quick progress - read for about 2 hours this weekend and haven't even hit 100 pages yet. :( Which translation are you reading?

Well, I am also trying to make a point of reading, and being stuck indoors is a very good excuse! I also know that very long books sort of pysch me out, so if I don't stick with it, I probably won't make it through to the end. I am also enjoying it though.

I'm reading the Pevear/Volokhonsky translation. I'm actually borrowing Joey's copy. He read the novel about 5 years ago and I think he researched which translation was supposed to be the best, so that's the one I wanted to go with.

tell Joey that he's a great researcher...I did my own research and concluded the same! :)
