I liked the part where the trashy white kids were harassing Maya;s Grand mother at her store and her grand mother just kept still and did not react singing hymns softly and then fianlly the kids whoi were curuellly mocking her for like 30 minutes one by one said good bye to her and she , after all the abuse loving said good bye to them and she had conquered them with her love and faith she won their respect .
