Sophie had begged Mr.Fanelli to upgrade her role in the play and so she got it. The next day she was waiting for Connor to arrive when the school gossip Olivia Kaplan came up to her and told her that Connor had gone off with her rival

Sophie is mad because Connor and Angie were spending to much time together and she was worried that she would lose her boyfriend and her reputation. Sophie was also mad because she didn't get the main role and the role that she did get was with Devin someone who she despises.

Sophie returns to school only to realize that she didn't get the main role in the play.

Sophie throws a party and she decides to invite everybody at school including her new rival Angie. When she sees that Angie actually showed up she is to give her a warning about not to bother her. The next day when Sophie wakes up she finds out that people who ate food at the party ended up getting food poisoning and makes her feel guilty.

Sophie is ready to audition for the play The taming of the shrew and she is confident that she will get the main role when a new girl Name Angie Vogel comes in asking for the main role Sophie is concerned that her plan will be ruined.

Sophie was admiring people diving and she was staring at her crush and thinking if she can get with him before prom.
