So I’m feeling impatient with the direction of this story. I’m not invested in the heroine’s sister, so her disappearance is not a true conflict. Im minimally interested in her new sex-escape man who helps her feel closer to Jaylee, now in jail. Book 1, I wanted each page; now, I want to skip to scenes with her, Jaylee, and Robert only.

Are you fucking kidding me?! That’s the ending? What about Robert and her? How did he respond to this new addition? What about Jaylee—he wouldn’t ignore his own son! Or even her, I think. Did he have brain damage? Unforgettable journey, but wILDLY RAGEY incomplete ending.
