Nate confesses that he thinks all those years ago he was the one who raised the dead and Brough back Damian Dobeon, Joey, the guy who bullied the kids when they are younger offers the team an extra hand and Andy freaks out and tells him off.

So far Kerri and the Sheriff recall an old tale about how the lake was formed that included these monsters, much like the one they found. Nate and Andy continue to question Ms. Deboën about her house growing up, the one all the mysteries seem to sprout from.

The group splits up, while Kerri stays with the Sheriff to examine the zombie corpse Nate and Andy go to interview Mrs. Deboën.

The team kill the zombie they previously fought and bring it in to the sheriff. The Sheriff calls for people to come and examine the zombie corpse and then the crew heads back to Kerri's aunt's house for some rest.

The crew decide to stay the night at the island, and when they wake they find a creature who looks and sounds a lot like a zombie. They're in the middle of fighting off the zombie when I set down the book.

Today the crew made it to the island and they find several clues around the old mysterious mansion and what it all might contain, along with deer teeth and red painted symbols.

So far the crew had made it back to the lake that all left them scared so many years into the future. I am already so far into the book because I started over the summer and kind of forgot about the book until now.
