The edition I'm reading (not one of the many in Goodreads) is shortened and illustrated, both of which appeal to me, as Darwin is not only brilliant, but also pedantic and prolix, and I love, love, love illustrations anyway.

Left Darwin up north though, and am now in Florida, so the finish will have to wait.
