Casagrande writes this short treatise to protect against usage and grammar snobs, but I’m afraid that I am doing a little dance in my seat while reading page 11. In my top 5 list of grammar grievances is the misuse of “you and I” as the object, not the subject, of a phrase/sentence. Even my brilliant beloved Barack Obama makes this mistake. I cringe every time I hear it, so if that makes me a grammar snob, so be it.
