Not Westerns as I think of them, but what do I know about Westerns? It's interesting to see what hisgorical facts were known to these writers, much as James Fenimore Cooper knew more about history than you might think.

It's a pity that 'Wst of the Pecos' isn't in this collection, but they have promised to update it as novels come in to the public domain.
