Churchland's account really is a bit too neurocentric for my taste, and some supplements of the role of the peripheral nervous system would solve a lot of problems, but for the time this was way ahead. Unfortunately, reminds me that Churchland is still more neurocentric than I'd like.

I always forget how much I enjoy Paul Churchland until I dive into a piece of his writing. Not sure I'm enjoying this as much as Plato's Camera, but it is very good.
