None of the ones I voted for won, and I have only heard of 1 that did win, which I didn't vote for because I didn't like it. Blah, blah, blah Your gif says it all

I knowwwww!!!! I keep hoping it would get better every year and yet, it didn't fail to disappoint me again this year too. *sigh*

It would be nice if a.) more books were in each category (write ins never work!) b.) more categories are added because I felt like some books didn't really belong in the category they were in, and a new category could have been created to hold them, leaving voting open to a better match. So many options GR is ignoring. Thankfully the only opinion that matters is my own, lol. I am not going to base my reading life on that list. :)

That's so true. They are still arguing that there aren't enough tags for LGBT genre to create a separate one for it. I'm just frustrated. :/

Which is such crap. They could add a category regardless of tags. But you know what? I will take the mm romance groups awards over any other awards any time. :D

<3 Real quick, Carina Press answered me and said Lola Hale (Devil's Slave) is taking a hiatus but there are more books planned in the series. You can still enjoy Devil by itself; but it's obvious more is to come.

I usually nominate mm books in different categories just hoping one makes it through. If they don't, i don't waste my time voting.

Sometimes, things are like that. Remember SE Jakes took more than two years for her last book in that 4 books series to come out. BTW, if you are waiting for that, the final book is coming in a couple months. :)

I know! It just frustrates me that these MMbooks lovers keep complaining the the books don't make it but how can they when you don't freaking vote??? Unless Goodreads cheat their numbers, we aren't voting enough. :/

I wrote in lots of MM books in different categories, but of course non made it thru. Maybe if we can all band together to nominate the same books in each category, might have a fighting chance.

That's the problem with MM romance readers community. It's very difficult to band them to do something. Oh well, we can always hope for the next year. *sigh*
