Giving your long time partner who is confused about whether he's kinky and definitely a novice a 12 hour ultimatum to decide whether he will be your submissive or you are going to break up makes whatever you do afterwards not consensual. I was struggling with all the secrets and lies but once it got down to the actual kink I was irritated. Rubber floggers might be slghtly thuddy if they have many heavy tails but the bite in them is because they are stingy from the rubber. This is a 101 flogging thing & if you are going to include a particular BDSM tool in your fiction know how it works. But the real issue I have with this book is about consent.
