The author is doing something right. Despite the "female Indiana Jones" pitch I was given was basically a lie. (the most action she does is hitting her friends with a parasol. This woman won't be killing anyone with a propeller.) I am two hours from the end and I still don't know if this book is realistic fiction or regular fiction. I know I could look but that is no fun.
