The first half of this book was really good but at this point there a very noticeable shift in the writing and the relationship between Julie and Shane that seems forced and not achieved naturally.

This makes no sense. The flow makes no sense. Pregnancy bomb makes no sense especially since the author made sure to describe the safety precautions prior to each scene she wrote. Ugh the first third of the book was so good. Now it's spiraling down hill.
