There was a burst of joy the moment the waiting crowd spotted Rama on the first step outside Kaikeyi's palace. One glance at Rama could evoke more emotions in people than what a mother experiences at the sight of her new born. Everyone was mesmerized by Rama's beauty and kept staring at Him, without a blink and began whispering endlessly.

By walking away from Lakshmana, Rama did not allow him to express his anger. And by exhibiting extreme calmness, he confused Lakshmana.

The worst place to help angry people is in front of a public gathering and the worst way to deal with them is to discuss the matter when they are most agitated.

The drama in Kaikeyi's life had ended ( or sjust begun. o she thought), but the drama in Rama's life had just become. Rama's world had changed drastically over the last few minutes-he had walked in as a king to be and walked out as a pauper. Could the weight of one desire turn a kinginto a pauper?
