Okay so I can say that it gets better! Just let Cathy talk and can everyone else shut up... please?! I love Cathy! What a character... everyone else is annoying and misogynistic (might have been the time etc but still makes me sit here going “ahhhh would you please zip it? Let Cathy run around the moors and stop trying to marry her off” - unfortunately I can’t do that)

It’s getting better. Takes a while to get accustomed to the way it’s written and the narrator but I am enjoying now that I do understand the structuring and pacing of it
